From Saffron Gael website

Ballycastle 0-5 Carey Faughs 5-15

Carey had just too much power for Ballycastle’s second string in Wednesday evening’s Countess of Antrim Cup opener, in a game that was played under the lights at Pairc MacUillin. With James Rocket Black pulling the strings the Faughs hit the ground running as Fiachra McVeigh goaled in the opening minute, Black got their second in the thirteenth minute and Fiachra McVeigh got his second, and Carey’s third on seventeen. In between Rocket was firing over points from all angles and when Daniel McBride grabbed the visitors fourth goal on 25 minutes the gap was out to eighteen points by the break

The second half was more of the same with Black hitting another five points and Fiachra McVeigh completing his hat trick to seal and emphatic 5-15 to 0-5 win.
